The finalists for Imaginarium 2019’s screenplay awards were announced live last night on the Star Chamber Show podcast. There are 11 finalists for short format screenplays and 12 finalists for long format screenplays.
The winners will be announced on Saturday, October 12th, during the Imaginarium 2019 Awards Banquet.
The Imaginarium Convention’s screenplay awards are recognized as part of our independent film festival awards and also as Imadjinn Awards. These are juried awards for non-produced screenplays.
Short format screenplays include short films, web series, and episodic television, while long format screenplays are for feature length productions.
A few screenwriters had more than one submission that qualified for our list of finalists, in what was our largest field of submissions yet.
A special thank you to our platforms at FilmFreeway and the International Screenwriters’ Association.
Congratulations to all the talented screenwriters in our finalist list!
