Imaginarium 2022 proudly welcomes award-winning choreographer, teacher, and performer Safiya Nawaar as a Spotlighted Guest! Safiya Nawaar, is the owner and artistic director of Arabesque World Dance in Lexington, Ky.
Safiya has been performing and teaching Raqs Sharqi (belly dance) for 22 years. Her specialties include the traditional and folkloric dances from the Middle East, North Africa, and the Mediterranean.
The Imaginarium 2022 Awards Banquet will feature a special performance by Safiya (details forthcoming).
