Imaginarium 2023 proudly welcomes award-winning author, editor, and futurist Arlan Andrews, Sr. as a Spotlighted Guest! Arlan, who was featured as an expert guest in multiple episodes of the popular TV series Ancient Aliens, has been selling science fiction stories, poems, and articles since first appearing in Isaac Asimov’s Science Fiction Magazine in January 1980. With over 100 short stories and 400 non-fiction pieces, his latest work is longer, an e-trilogy from Baen Books, The Shadowfall Chronicles!
A retired engineer with a long career that included positions at White Sands Missile Range, the White House Science Office, national laboratories, and high-tech startups, Arlan is the founder and director of SIGMA, the science fiction think tank, a group of 40 science fiction and game writers who provide pro bono futurism consulting to the US Government and other organizations.
