Imaginarium 2024 is proud to announce the addition of two new workshops and six new panels to our growing list of 2024 Panel and Workshop Programming! New Workshop Additions:
Meet the Editor: Presenter – Liza Groen Trombi. Locus Magazine’s Editor-in-Chief and publisher Liza Groen Trombi will talk about editing, magazine publishing, and answer any questions that you may have. (90 min)
Romance Sub-Genres and Tropes and How to Market Them: Presenter – Chasity Bowlin. USA Today Best Selling Author Chasity Bowlin will explain and define the different trends in Contemporary Romance tropes and subgenres and to market them. (60 min)
New Panel Additions:
A Discussion on Writing Software Packages. Moderator – TBA. There are several writing softwares out there, like Scrivener to assist your writing process. We will discuss the pros and cons of these software aids. (60 min)
Creating Critters: Moderator – TBA. How to create believable critters blending mythos with reality. (60 min)
Making a Trope Your Own: Moderator – TBA. How to put your signature on a trope and make it unique. (60 min)
Publishing Platforms: Moderator – TBA. Discuss the pros and cons of different publishing platforms, such as KDP, Ingram Spark, and Draft2Digital.
The Author – Editor Relationship. Moderator – TBA. A talk about the relationship importance between the author and the editor and how it affects the outcome of your finalized manuscript. (60 min)
Traditional & Current Media Marketing Trends: Moderator – TBA. Utilizing media to market your title will help you reach a whole new audience and offer endless networking opportunities for future projects. (60 min)
