Jessica Starks is a professional writer, author, and multi-hyphenate entrepreneur.
Jessica is the author of four books to date: The Lynching Calendar, Strolling With Stories: Tales From Horsepen, Learn, Love, Lead: 121 Days of Prayer, and Whoo Blessed You: The Loving Hands That Molded Me.
Writing has always been Jessica’s passion, and she aims to put that passion into every word she writes. She relishes in writing historical fiction and sharing about the unique African American experience throughout history, both positive and negative.
Jessica is also a businesswoman. Through her company, J.D. Scribes, she has been able to help small businesses with all of their content management needs and polish their brand messaging. Her second business, BOND Small Business Group, is a promotional and networking organization that works to educate, empower, and elevate small businesses in and around Northeast Mississippi.
When Jessica isn’t working, she enjoys volunteering in her community, reading, genealogy, cooking, and spending time with her family.
