Arriving in Seattle Washington to an immigrant mother and father, then moving to Ridgewood Queens NY, Jonathan later experienced a broken family, sense of abandonment, deaths, suicide in family and institution after institution. At 15 yrs of age, Jonathan was released from a juvenile detention center to friends being killed, idols in jail, and those he looked up to in the street life suffering from the decisions they made.
Always a great admirer of graffiti and hip-hop culture, at 18 yrs old Jonathan had survived many near death and exhilarating experiences that he wished to share with the world. The idea that if he could pull himself out of suffering and find the love of his life, start a family and find peace anyone who so may choose can do the same… perhaps inspire those living in fear of experiencing life outside the box to do what their hearts call them to. His role of father and husband took main stage, and writing, producing, and directing sat on a shelf for some time.
Now at 38 years old publishing his first novel, he sets out accomplish what he envisioned years before!
