Born and raised in the heart of Kentucky’s bourbon country, R. C. Reid is an amateur historian and espionage aficionado who always wanted to write fiction.
An uber fan of the works of John D. MacDonald, Edward S. Aarons and Daniel Silva, he always longed to see a well-written female protagonist in the action-espionage genre, and so created the ‘Mother Russia’ thriller series, whose first book, ‘Red Moscow’, was published in early 2025 by Jumpmaster Press with the second, ‘Red Eagle’, coming in 2026.
Star Trek, Shakespeare and English history are several of his other passions, and with five friends, he is one of the producers and hosts of the Snakes and Otters podcast (available on all major platforms) with 10,000+ downloads to date and counting.
